Okay, I have allowed this blog to languish because I go back and forth in my thinking about blogs. On one hand, I think they’re a good idea and specifically a good idea for me since I am always working on so many projects and they all relate to one another in my head so maybe it would be good to show other people all the different extensions of the ideas I’ve got going on - even if it’s really just for my own benefit. On the other hand it seems like a self-indulgent, narcissistic waste of my time which is already something I am short on. Either way, I will try to care less and post more and see what happens.
Since the last (first) post, I have finished the drawing, and another drawing, four paintings, a sound piece, and completed the final guitar tracks for the Anicon recording. I still need to write lyrics and track vocals for it. Trenchgrinder has also played a bunch of good shows, most recently with Inquisition. I got an awesome double LP of theirs at the show and have been too busy to listen to it.
